For children up to fifth grade, we have a kids ministry available at our 10:00AM Sunday gatherings. One of our Greeters will be happy to assist you if you need help locating the kids ministry area.

God commands us to teach and train our children in His ways Deut 6:4-7; Prov 22:6, so we consider it our calling and responsibility to support the families of our congregation by teaching their children God’s Word and laying a solid foundation for Jesus during their formative years.

Each child that comes into our care will receive an age-appropriate Biblical lesson, engage in a time of worship through song, and have the opportunity for lots of fun and fellowship.

If you would like your child to participate, our doors open 15 minutes before each service begins.

Services for parents and children

Nursery: ages 6-24 months. Your baby will enjoy a safe, loving, and joyful environment. Our volunteers will care for, soothe, pray for and entertain your child while you have the opportunity for a time of fellowship, teaching and corporate worship. Snacks and water are provided, but please supply your own additional baby care items and inform the volunteers of any special instructions.

Toddlers: ages 2-4 years old. Toddlers, as you well know, are full of energy and curiosity, so our classroom provides a fun environment with plenty of room for discovery. Your toddlers will engage in a structured time of singing and movement, learning God’s word and simple crafts. Snacks and water are provided, but please supply any additional personal care items.

Volunteer to serve our kids

Thank you for your interest in serving our kids at Calvary Chapel San Ramon! We cherish our little ones and consider the Lord’s ministry to them our calling and responsibility. Because of the influential position our kids ministry workers hold, there is a short series of prerequisites that we ask you to complete before being brought into the regular rotation, including a background check.

Your first step is completing the general application. Be sure to mark “kids ministry” as an area in which you are interested in serving. All applications are prayerfully considered and we will contact you shortly if additional information is required.
